The Gentle Touch Co is a space where hair care meets relaxation, comfort and specialized hair treatment. The inspiration behind The Gentle Touch Co was taken from the history of a young black girl getting her hair done at the salon or in the living room by her mother. The memory behind hair care has always been rough mishandling and maybe a few comb knocks to the head.

When you walk through our doors, each client is warmly greeted and welcomed into our space of peace. We offer a one-on-one private consultation to learn about you and your hair journey. We’ve personalized our mannerisms to create a community where each client feels at home from the moment they step into our doors and leave to their humble abodes.
We have a strict policy called “The listening ear” and it is a mandate we have placed on each stylist regarding our clients needs. Each request and instruction that is received from the client must be followed by the stylist. We care for your concerns and hair preferences and we believe that your voice matters. Our aim is to insure that each client feels beautiful and well taken care of.

They communicate with you step by step, finger detangle section by section, massage the scalp during the wash and look it’s amazing there. I would suggest however, that they change their pricing to reflect the amount of hair or the persons head. It’s unfair for someone with a lot of hair (taking up more products) paying the same 🤣. Ok thanks

Mia was so gentle with my hair and so attentive to what my hair needed.Would definitely recommend to anyone!

The consultation in the beginning ensures that the treatment you get is tailored to your hair needs and goals. Mia tells you so much about your hair that you never knew which is so eye opening. Mia uses all-natural organic hair products and she makes them herself as well I mean how incredible! Special shout out to the stylist who did my spring twists, they are literal perfection. 10/10 would recommend. If you would love to have healthy hair without breaking the bank, Mia is your girl!
